[ there were many things to consider, in Stannis's mind. when he responds, he is blunt, as always. ]

Perhaps it was better for the people of your Westeros that the Storm hit when it did. If the people were spared, then it was not all for naught.

We will have to follow the counsel of our saviors, no doubt. At the very least, they seem to have knowledge of this enemy, which puts them in a better position than we were with the Others.

They seem to think we can fight it, but I don't remember what this storm looked like or what form it came in.

They haven't told us anything about this war.
