Creatures of ice and snow, or so the legends say. Their powers are such that they can make the dead walk again. Until recently, we had all thought that they were but an ancient myth, used to scare ill-behaved children. But the men of the Night's Watch- those that protect the Wall have seen them with their own eyes. And as winter comes, I have no doubt that they would begin a war upon all of us.

Gods. There exists such magic on Hydaelyn, though to call it taboo would be an understatement. That these beings possess such chills me to hear.

[ He somehow doubts the Natha are that selective, however. Not that he has gone looking for the evil men of his homeland who may yet be sleeping. He is content to put them out of sight and out of mind, and should they wake, he’ll deal with it then. ]

The Natha do tend to laud themselves as impartial.
