Creatures of ice and snow, or so the legends say. Their powers are such that they can make the dead walk again. Until recently, we had all thought that they were but an ancient myth, used to scare ill-behaved children. But the men of the Night's Watch- those that protect the Wall have seen them with their own eyes. And as winter comes, I have no doubt that they would begin a war upon all of us.
Would that we all could be so fortunate to have the evils of our worlds snuffed out in such a way.
